Marlanda is currently delivering an Asset Mapping & Critical Spares project to a Tier 1 mining company in QLD, Australia. Our team of Asset Management Specialists work alongside the site Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure critical parts are available when needed.
Assets are verified in-field to ensure drawings are up to date and available to maintenance personnel. Then all Materials are identified and assessed to determine criticality and catalogued in the ERP. With a portfolio of over 1700 assets across 12 plants, this body of work has spanned over 3 years, a true testament to the value of work being delivered.
This initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency, reduce procurement delays and improve data accuracy in their ERP.

Through a collaborative approach with regular KPI reporting, together we identified improvement opportunities including standardisation of ERP records, minimising approval delays and supply chain inefficiencies. Our team has expanded from a sole Asset Management officer to a full improvement project team, including 2 engineers to perform criticality analysis and trade qualified specialists, to provide expertise on electrical and mechanical components.
